Yippity it's an Ippity Swap!!

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Hello friends and a big Hip Hop Hello! Thanks for coming by today to see what I created with my Ippity for the Flip Flop Hip Hop! Whew! That was a lot to say but Oh So FUN! Since I'm one of the scrappy Unity Design Team girls... you guessed it, I created a layout!

Supplies: Patterned paper My Little Shoebox Who's There, Ippity's Now and Always Set, Prima flowers, Fabric Tape from Love My Tapes and Thickers from American Crafts.

I stamped the large flower stamps onto the patterned paper in two different colors of green ink but I'm sorry that the lighter color is not showing up very well. I also used the Sentiment "may you never forget what is worth remembering" as part of my title and added the butterflies for my finishing touches.

Now below is a quick video I recorded for today with a little message for you. When you are done watching hop on over to the gorgeous Brooke! I'm sure she has created something fabulous for you today!!

Hi Shemaine,

So nice to see you on a video, that's even more personal than reading stories or seeing a photo! You look so nice and I loved also seeing your layout there, looks very 'firm', don't know if it's the right word, but hope you know what I mean. What a wonderful fliphop this is, I like the flowers you used for the background, very pretty stamps!! Thanks for making this wonderful video! Meeting in person is a bit more difficult, 'cause I'm in the Netherlands - well nothing is impossible of course, ha ha - but this gets pretty close! Like it!

Hugs,
Wendy

I love how you included stamps on your lo and I'm looking to more ideas on how to incorporate stamps on layouts because you're absolutely right I tend to use them more for cards and invites and they can really add beauty to a page or subtle details and I believe it's all in the details!
