More creations featuring products from Anna Griffin

Hello friends. Hope your week has been great so far. Anna's March show on HSN showcased so many new products that I am still sharing some samples. Today I wanted to show some of the Today Special dies and embossing folder projects with you.

I wanted to share the detail of the dies with this close up. First you emboss your strip of paper the you use the border die to cut the border design.

I love this border die, it makes beautiful layers.

Next are a few cards I made with Anna's 12 x 6 embossing folders.

It's fun to sand your embossed images. I like the way that technique turned out here.

Anna's Cottage Roses were a perfect pair for this card.

Well that's it for today!
I hope you get some time to get creative today too!

Creating for fun Tuesday

Hello friends! Over the weekend I met up with some friends at Custom Impressions in Bellflower for a weekend crop and some much needed me time.

I had a great time and had some time to create with my April Simon Says Stamp card kit.

I love the stamp set in this month's Sold Out kit

Here's a couple of my cards.

That lightbulb is just too cute!

I used the scraps of patterned paper from the above card to make this one.

The last time I was out at Custom Impressions I picked up Teresa Collins  Save the Date collection. Here's a card I made using the Project Life inspired 3x4 card and some other embellies from the collection.

That's it for today friends!

Have a creative day!

Albums Made Easy Mondays

Hello friends. I hope you had a great weekend! For this week's Albums Made Easy Monday I am sharing another page I created using the Snapshots 12x12 Page kit from We R Memory Keepers.

For last week's AME Monday, I used lettering on my photos with the Rhonna Designs app. For this week's page I stayed true to traditional scrapbooking and used patterned paper and embellished for my pages.

My process of working with pocket pages is to take 2 squares at a time and embellish.

 photo MyLoveTCd.jpg

Albums Made Easy pages are perfect for using up scraps and getting out those rarely used punches. I've had that heart punch for 10 years now.

 photo MyLoveTCb.jpg

I also love using border punches to enhance my inserts.

 photo MyLoveTCe.jpg

Don't forget to tell your story in your own handwriting. Yes I know...I too dislike my handwriting but it's personal and it's from you. So do it!

 photo MyLoveTCc.jpg

This page easily be done Sunday evenings so you can easily recall the events and information you wan to document.

I use my iPhone to take most of my photos now and they are set to transfer to my laptop so finding the ones I want to use is easy and fast.

I hope you are inspired to pick up some We R Memory Keepers photo inserts and give pocket page scrapbooking a try.

If you already are, share the link to your pages. I'd love to come have a look.

Thanks for stopping by today!

How I spend my days

Hello friends. I hope you are enjoying your day so far. I love crafting away in my little studio and am so thankful that I get to work with really beautiful products. Some assignments are fun and others are a true labor of love. Today I am sharing some of my Anna Griffin designs using her Pretty Papers 6x6 set available at HSN.
I really enjoyed making these 6x6 cards and using other Anna Griffin products to embellish them.

Next I have some Garden Window Card Making kit cards to share. This kit is so beautiful and loaded with amazing die cuts and stickers. I am not surprised it is sold out at HSN.

Albums Made Easy Monday

Hello friends! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Thanks for joining me for another Albums Made Easy Monday. I'm so loving the new Teresa Collins lines for Albums Made Easy! Today I am creating with the Snapshots Page kit.

I loved using this kit for a Inst-Life page I created using We R Memory Keepers Instagram photo sleeves. I had my birthday a couple weeks ago and here are a few highlights of my special day.

 photo AME472014.jpg

I placed my photos in a tic tac toe arrangement and then used the remaining 4 inserts to add some fun ephemera, stamps and dies.

I used the Rhonna Designs App to add text to my photos. It makes journaling so much more fun since I really dislike my own handwriting. After I have edited my images, I  am can choose to save them as an Instagram size which makes the easy to print out on my Cannon Selphy.

Try using overlays and cutting them to 4x4 in size to alter. I used a couple on my layouts.

I hope you found some ideas here today for your next Albums Made Easy page!
