Floral Cutting die cards

Hello friends. Today I'm sharing my cards that I created with Anna Griffin's Floral Cutting dies! I love love loved this set. It's SO beautiful and fun to create with. Here's what I designed.

I used Therm-O-Web's 3D foam dots to pop the top layer of lighter pink on the rose dies.

The key to a beautiful card is the layers. There are 6 layers on this card alone.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Design Studio cards

Monday, August 15, 2016

Hello friends. today I am sharing a few projects from the Cricut Design Studio that I made a few months back with the cartridge titled Dimensional Scenes - Tea & Cakes.

These cards are like shadow boxes, so fun to put together.

I paired them with coordinating cardstocks and papers from Anna Griffin.

These two are from Dimensional Scenes - XOXO

That little birdie is just too fun!

The Cricut Design Space makes it so easy to create cards like these and more. I'm a real fan of my Cricut Explore.

If you've been on the fence about purchasing an Explore, I can tell you first hand that out of the box I had no idea what I was doing but Cricut's upgrades have made cutting images easier than ever.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Therm-O-Web Mixed Media sheets earrings.

Monday, July 25, 2016

Hello friends. I am excited to share a fun project I created for Therm-O-Web for a trade show they exhibited at recently.

Therm-O-Web is releasing some really cool mixed media sheets that you can alter with a variety of mediums. I decided to try cutting mine in the Cricut. Due to the fabric I was worried that it might not cut cleanly so I decided to paint them first with Gesso from Faber Castel. I was so pleased with the result.

Here's a look at my process.

The die cut feathers from Cricut's Design Space.

I painted them with the new iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive.

Then I used the new watercolor foil to foil them, Then I added the silver findings.

Here's the finished set.

Thanks for stopping by today.
