Halloween themed project shares

Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Hello friends! I spent most of the summer creating for Anna Griffin's October HSN show.  I must confess, it's pretty hard to wait to share my creations with you until the shows air.

Anna always out does herself with her designs. I get the boxes and open them up with anticipation every single time!

Since Halloween is just around the corner, today seems like the perfect time to share a few fun cards I created with Anna's 3D Stickers and Rosettes.

.

I use Therm-O-Web 3D foam squares to attach the rosettes and stickers to my card bases. They add great dimension and stick really well over other textures like the glitter die cut I used.

The smaller foam squares that come in the multi pack were perfect for mounting the pumpkin die to my card base,

Anna's stickers are so fun to create with and make it easy to create fun cards like these quickly.

Check out more of Anna's products available at HSN.

I hope you have a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween!

Fun Halloween cards

Saturday, October 15, 2016

Hello there!  Today I'm whipping up a few fun foiled Halloween cards with Therm-O-Webs ICRAFT® EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS • LG and DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS.

Therm-O-Web Supplies: ICRAFT EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS • LG DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS
3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK
MEMORY TAPE RUNNER XL™
Other Supplies: Anna Griffin Halloween Papers, Stickers, Owl and Spiderweb Die Twine: Orange and Brown

Project Instructions: Using the Easy-Cut Adhesive, I layer it over white cardstock and cut the die using my Cuttlebug.  Next I cut a piece of the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS in black to cover my die.

I love using the Cuttlebug to apply the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS. to the ICRAFT EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS because it applies so evenly and brings out the detail in the dies.

To finish off the card, I used some twine and a few die cuts backed with 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES. For the second card, I used the same technique with the Anna Griffin owl die and you can see the detail in the owl after the  DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS in Amber Watercolor have been applied.

Halloween creations with Anna Griffin's Endora collection

Wednesday, September 9, 2015

Halloween is my favorite time of year! For me it's the official kick off of the holiday season.
I love checking out the Halloween collections from some of my favorite designers.
Anna Griffin debuted her new Halloween collection Endora on HSN back in July.
The collection is loaded with lots of fun stickers, die cuts and fun patterned papers.

Here's a look at some cards I created with this beautiful collection!

These cards were so fun to create. In addition to the Endora collection I also used Anna's glitter cardstock.

Are you getting started on your Halloween cards or have you already finished?

We R Memory Keepers featured collection for October

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

Hello friends! Can you believe it's October already? I love October for two reasons...

 The MLB Playoffs
 Halloween!
So being that October has kicked off, it's time to reveal this month's featured collection from We R Memory Keepers...

I loved the colors and designs in the Bewitched collection. It was really fun to create with. That cute layout above with the little girl is one I created for Summer CHA Trade show booth but that little cutie is not my darling Lily.

Here's the version I submitted.

I love my spooky little cuties, This photo is from Halloween circa 2010. I used some My Favorite Things and Spellbinder dies along with some fun Recollection Halloween embellies.

Next I wanted to share an Albums Made Easy page I created also using the Bewitched Albums Made Easy Journaling card set.

Bewitched Albums Made Easy Card Set

Here's a 12x12 Photo Sleeve layout

Every year my friend Monica has an awesome pumpkin carving party at her home in Redondo Beach. These are some of the photos from last year's party. We had such a great time. We really look forward to it every year but this year I won't be able to attend since I'll be teaching in North Carolina at Stitch Craft and Create.

That's all I have for you today. Make sure you check out the We R Memory Keepers Facebook page for more inspiration with this month's featured collection.

Thanks for stopping by!
