The Force is still strong..

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

It's been 33 years since we were first introduced to "the Force" and there's a new Star Wars fan everyday. It's clear to me that Star Wars will forever be a part of Pop Culture. Check out these new shoes from Adidas I found online. I'm sure these will be out of my normal shoe budget for my son but sometimes you gotta break the bank for your kids.

These are shoes are inspired from the Hoth scenes in Empire Strikes Back and further proof that Episode V was the best in my opinon! Notice the fur? Heck I'd wear these! Love the little details like the Rebel emblem on the back and the tan suede like the Rebel snow uniform Luke was wearing when he was struck off his Taun Taun by the Wampa. Love it!

OK I know I'm a Star Wars nerd and I wear that title proudly. If you want to see more styles check out Adidas's 2010 Star Wars collection here.

And now for something completely different...another Live Loud layout from Imaginisce. This is a really fun line to scrap with. I love the colors and embellishments.

Here's a close up of my 3D star. I love these pics of my kids. They were having so much fun.

I used this fantastic liquid adhesive to keep this large foam star on my layout from Tombow

Tombo Mono Aqua liquid Glue.

Tombow generously donated some of their fantastic products to the Imaginisce Design Team to try out along with our fab collections. I love this liquid glue already and use it for my special projects and altered artwork.

I'll be posting my challenge cards later today. I've been so swamped today with home stuff. Thanks for stopping by!

those shoes are awesome!! Heck, I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan, but I definitely would wear those!!
Love the layouts too. That is such a fun line of paper. I'm dying to get my hands on some, I have some fun pics of my 12 yr old his new electric guitar and then opening up the box with the guitar case in it at Xmas!! That paper would definitely be perfect for those!
