So as you can guess I wasted no time at all getting my scrap on with Unity's Scrapbook sets! Since this is my first week I decided to scrap up a layout about myself.
I love, love, love the Brave Girl set from Melody Ross! We are all brave girls. In life we go through things that make us stronger, life experiences that make us Brave. I didn't know how Brave I was until I had to be in 2005 when I was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric bone cancer in my left arm. I'll never forget the feeling of my head spinning when my Dr. was preparing me for what I might have to endure. Upper arm amputation, chemotherapy, radiation...my only thought was my son. I had to be Brave for him. Now I'm cancer free and have a beautiful daughter and wonderful husband who was Brave as well. I'm still learning to be Brave in other areas on my life even now.
Scrapbooking these emotions helps the healing of one's soul and teaches us all to be Brave. Brave enough to talk about the things that shape who we are. It's this reason that I scrapbook.

super LO and I love how you used the stamps! I don't SB much but I always try to use stamps when I do! I am working on a vacation album right now and I am using some of the Unity journaling block stamps on it and some flowers!

Congrats on being a Unity Lady! Your LO is so beautiful! I have used stamped image on my LO's. In a new challenge to myself, I have been using a stamp on EVERYTHING to get some of my unloved unity to feel Loved! So a LO is a great way to use more than one stamp!
Yes, I have used stamps on my scrapbooking pages. I usually use letters, but have gotten more into stamps, so I hope to use images as well.

Fabulous layout! Congrats on your new DT position! Love that Unity set--I use stamps in all of my layouts. It seems like I always forget to take a lot of photos, so I tend to journal a lot and use the stamps as the focal images.
Congrats, can't wait to see more. I stamp on layouts all the time! I started out stamping on cards and then using stamps on scrapbook pages.
I mostly do cards and always do a lot of stamping. Love your layout. I think more people should describe themselves and their personal style in their papercrafting.
