Summer & Fall Embossing folders

Thursday, July 21, 2016

Hello friends, Today I am sharing a few cards I created with Anna Griffin's Summer and Fall Embossing folders.

I love the shells embossing folder. It's so fun to add ink to this one.

The feathers were my favorite because they are so trendy right now. I cut the feathers in vellum and layered them over the embossing folder.

Have a creative day!

Summer and Fall Stamps and Seasonal Inks

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

Hello Friends. Today I am sharing some of my cards created with Anna's Seasonal inks and Stamps.

I love stamping in the same color ink as my cardstock and creating my own patterned paper. This technique is easy to create, it just takes a little time and patience.

A little glitter paper goes a long way. It helps these stamped images stand out.

This was my favorite card because the navy ink really pops!

Seasonal Layers and Dies

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

Hello friends. Today I am sharing some cards created with Anna's Seasonal Card Layers and Dies.
Pairing these products makes card making quick and easy. You can transform paper into beautiful accents for your cards.

Double layer your dies with complimenting colors to create fun looks for your cards.
My steps to a quick card are:
Choose a base
Add a complimenting layer cut at 4x6 with foam adhesive to create depth
add a banner strip and die cut sentiment
add some die cut flowers using foam adhesive for depth
finish with Anna's classic bows.
Voila!

I hope you get a chance to create today!
Thanks for stopping by.

Charlotte Paper collection

Monday, July 18, 2016

Hello friends. I can't believe I haven't posted in over a month. I must admit I was pretty busy in May and June with a move and getting ready for Anna's 24 hour craft event on HSN.

Today I am sharing some of my cards that were created with Anna's Charlotte paper collection.

Someone recently emailed me asking my recipe for the perfect card. I say the more layers the better! There are 5 on this card.

Nothing says Anna more than gold glitter paper.

I love this newest collection from Anna Griffin. The colors and patterns and so lush and beautiful.
I'll be sharing more creations all this week.

Thank you for stopping by!

More new products from Anna Griffin

Saturday, July 13, 2013

Hello friends! I'm back with even more projects with Anna's new products featured on HSN Thursday. Today's cards are featuring Anna's new Lace Washi Tape and the Inspiring Impressions Embossing folders. I really enjoyed creating with these products. First let's have a look at the Lace Washi Tapes.

I used the tapes to make several frames for this card. You just need a craft knife to do this technique and some foam tape to create the layers.

The tapes were easy to apply to cardstock. A light color like ivory works best to show off the detail of the tapes.

I made this one look like wallpaper by cutting strips of cardstock and using strips of the tape in between.

For this card I applied the strips of Washi tape and then fussy cut around them to create the scallops and adhered them to the card base with foam tape.

For this card I adhered the tapes to cardstock and then cut them into flags to create my banner.

Now for a look at the new Inspiring Impressions Embossing folders... LOVE!!!

I used a folder and a strip for this card and sanded the Perfect Palate cardstock pieces to reveal the white core. I also added mini pearls to the center of the design.

For this card I used a Spellbinder die and embossed it and then layered the same die but larger with the Perfect Palette cardstock.

Yes purple is my favorite color and paired with this green, it came out nice with the layers. Don't be afraid to sand your cardstock.

I used some ink to bring out the texture of the final two cards. I find that tone on tone colors work best. I also like the look of chalk inks too.

Aren't these folders are beautiful? And that's only a few of the styles!
