Hip Hop Thanksgiving Table Decor Inspiration!

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Hello friends! Hip Hop! This week we are showing you some fabulous projects for your Thanksgiving table created with Unity Stamps! Make sure you stop by Unity first to see Angela's Hip Hop announcement!
Did you know Unity has teamed up with Jillibean Soup to bring you the most Oh So Adorable Stamps ever!!

Oh yes they did! You can order them now! Go to the Unity Home Page!

Now here's a quick tutorial I created with Unity's Simple Blessings set for a fun project to add a little something to your Thanksgiving table!.

I love re-purposing things and I love to re-use odd shaped jars so here's what you'll need for this project:

StayzOn ink Brow, Grafix Vellum paper, Embossing Powder, Unity Leaf Image, Tombow Vellum Adhesive and ribbon

Measure your vellum paper to wrap around the jar

Stamp your image onto the vellum with the StayzOn (I know it's sideways but Blogger refused to let me fix sorry)

Next sprinkle embossing powder all over and use your hear tool to set.

Next use your adhesive along one edge and wrap your vellum paper around the jar

Add a punched border to the botton, some bling here and there and some ribbon and light a tealight inside!

And now you have a nice addition to the mood of your Thanksgiving table!!

Oh...and I don't want to forget to tell you one more thing...
We have a new Scrapbook store kit!!

Isn't it perfect for those Mother's Day cards and layouts we all love to scrap! You can find a list of stores that carry these kits in the Unity Website!

Now it's time to HOP!

I just know Brooke is going to have something amazing for you today!

This is so amazing! I love it! And I was at the store right after Halloween and bought some of the 50% off battery tealights for pumpkins, so that will work perfectly!

I love how you have a print out of your stamp sets. I think you need a post to explain how you organize/store them!
Great idea. Works great for the Unity Addicts challenge this week!
