Scarey images from Papas house in La Crescenta**UPDATE**...

Thanks for all your prayers and positive thoughts! The fire was contained at the curb across the street from the homes. Everybody is safe but the smell is pretty overwhelming so Papa and Doris have been staying at Doris's moms in Pasadena. It was sad to see that homes were lost further down the 210 fwy in Sunland. I am thankful for the work the firefighters did to save as many homes as they could.

**This is my second post today. Scroll down for my Jacksonbelle Tuesday post**

This is the view of my sons Grandfather's back yard. We've swam many summers in this pool and my son learned to swim in it as well. His dad was just a little guy when it was built and could be found outside with the workers while they were building it.
The fires are dangerously close to his home now and I am praying that somehow they will not take the homes on Pinelawn Dr.

This is his view from the driveway in front of the garage. Today the winds have come up making it harder for the firemen to control the fires. All we can do is hope for the best. I know my FIL is using the water from his pool to spray the house down as many of the residents on his street are.
I am praying for a positive outcome.
