We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board paired with Envelope Wraps

Thursday, March 13, 2014

Hello friends. Did you happen to catch Andrew from We R Memory Keepers on HSN a few weeks ago? Well if you missed the show, the items are available at HSN. I recently made some samples for the show with the ever popular Envelope Punch board and Envelope Wraps.

We R Memory Keepers has a variety of styles of Envelope Wraps. I created with 2 different collections. Here's a look at the Kraft collection.

Here are some samples with the Notable collection.

The Envelope Punch Board makes it easy to create a variety of cards and matching envelopes. I created all of these samples in under 30 minutes.

Next is a look at the Floral Envelope Wraps.

I paired these with the Chalkboard collection. I love the way these turned out. So girly and fun!

So fun right? I really enjoy mailing handmade cards to friends and family. This makes it a whole lot quicker!

Have a creative day!

Albums Made Easy Monday

Monday, October 7, 2013

Hello and thanks for stopping by for today's Albums Made Easy Monday. Last week we covered the Albums Made Easy products and different photo sleeves and journaling card sets that are available for you to create with from We R memory Keepers.

Today I wanted to share a little about my process for creating Albums Made Easy pages. These pages can be as simple or as elaborate as you choose. You can create pockets to add memorabilia, use die cuts, stickers and a large variety of other embellishments to create your pages that tell the story of your photos.

When I am creating my AME pages, I first choose which of my photos I am going to work with and print them. I have 2 photo printers. An HP 5510 All in One Printer and a Cannon Selphy. I love printing at home because I can edit and alter my photos any way I like. I purchase my ink from Staples and use their Rewards card to keep the cost down. I purchase my photo paper at Costco. You get 150 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 sheets for $20.00. It's a great deal.

Since I am using this photo sleeve today, you can see there are pockets for 4 4x6 photos and 4 3x4 photos. I typically like to use 2 full 4x6 and 2 full 3x4 photos for my page.

Next I chose my journaling cards. The AME kits are loaded with such a great variety of journaling cards I like to choose which ones I want to use and arrange them in the photo sleeves.

Next I decide if I want to alter any of them. Today I chose to alter the top Right 4x6 card with some solid cardstock cut at 2x6 and rounded at the bottom corners. I then added a strip of Washi Tape and a few banner stickers from the Chalkboard sticker sheet. This made it easy to add a title for my story

This is a quick and easy alter of one of the 4x6 journaling cards and adds a title to your page.

Now I am ready to slide in the rest of my photos and add some journaling to the journal tag.

The Insta-fun tag is perfect for adding another photo so I printed one and backed it with cardstock cut 1/4 larger that the photo so it would have the matted look.

So there you have today's page. I'd love to see how you are creating your Albums Made Easy pages so please link them to the comments so I can stop by and take a look.

Albums Made Easy Monday

Monday, September 30, 2013

Hello and thanks for joining me for this week's Albums Made Easy Monday. Sorry to have my post up a little late but I had a terrible weekend dealing with some tooth pain. I am sure many of you can agree when I say that I would much rather bear a child than endure tooth pain...LOL.

Many of you expressed that you were interested in this method of Scrapbooking in your comments on last week's post so I am assuming that means that many of you have not tried the AME system yet. I'm sure after you spend a little time with me here, you'll find that it's a great way to get multiple pages done in a short amount of time. You'll also find that you'll be using more of your photos than every before.
Another great thing about Scrapbooking this way is that you can keep it as simple as you like or you can add a variety of embellishments, die cuts and stamped images that show your personal style.

So are you ready to get started? Well alright! Here we go...

Let's start by talking about photo sleeves.  We R Memory Keepers Albums Made Easy offers you 5 styles of Photo Sleeves to work with. Here is a look at those styles.

And the 12x12 Photo Sleeve

Now you can choose to work with the same Photo sleeve or you can mix and match them. I still enjoy Scrapbooking 12x12 layouts, so I like that I can mix and match the multiple photo sleeves with a 12x12 layout.

Now let's talk about Scrapbook. If you like to add embellishments like I do, then you want to use the 3 ring binder for storing your AME pages. I have the 12x12 3 ring Kiwi Classic Leather Albums for my layouts.

You could use the Classic Leather Post albums but the pages don't turn as easily in my personal opinion. The other problem I found is that over time my embellishments became smashed and the layouts did not look as nicely as they did when I snapped them inside the album.

The 3 ring binders look fantastic lined up on my bookcase (pre- iphone 5 pic and excuse the labels I did not even take the time to peel off) I also have the ivory 8 1/2 X 11 Size for storing my rubber clings stamps. That is a great way to store then with the EZ Mount boards.

With the 3 ring you do have to pay attention when you slide them into the book case because the pages might bend downward and you could end up smashing your pages as you slide the album in. To avoid this I simply pinch the top of the pages as I slide the album into my bookcase to keep the straight.

Finally, let's talk about the Journaling Cards. We R Memory Keepers offers several styles and colors Albums Made Easy Journaling cards. You can view all the selections available here on the We R Albums Made Easy page.

New for the Albums Made Easy system is the 3x4 Card Punch which is now available in rounded and straight corners. You can use this tool for photos or patterned paper scraps that you would like to turn into inserts for yous Albums Made Easy sleeves.

Now that we've talked about the products that make the Albums Made Easy System easy to use, I'm ready to take you thru my process of completing a 2 page spread featuring the Chalkboard collection next Monday.

But before I go, I'm offering up another Albums Made Easy prize package!

Leave a comment to win a prize package that contains: 2 12x12 Albums Made Easy photo sleeves to create your first spread, a sampling of Albums Made Easy Journaling cards and a coordinating sticker sheet from our September featured collection:
