Love 2 Craft Giveaway

Friday, August 31, 2012

Hello friends! It's been a busy week here at the Smith home with the return of school. Scott started his Sophomore year by joining the HS marching band. And...our baby has officially started Kindergarten! It's been an emotional week for this momma to say the least. I wanted to share their first day pics.

Scott ready for his first day.

Lily ready for her first day.

They both had great weeks and like their teachers. These two make me so proud. I am honored to be their mom and so thankful I get to be present for these memories.

Now onto some scrappy stuff...

I'm sharing one last Love 2 Craft project before we move on next month to...

This collection is perfect for all the school photos you took this week.

Now I have a cute wall hanging I made using the Love 2 Craft collection and the new Mini 8 punch. I punched 6 different solid color cardstock sheets to create the banner and embellished with doilys and Love 2 Craft coordinating stickers and chipboard accents.

 Here's a closer look

I also used some fun gingham ribbon and colorful buttons to dress it up.

Now for the giveaway! I have some Love 2 Craft goodies left over that I'd like to get into one lucky winner's hands to have fun with. All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me your plans for the holiday weekend. Leave an email address to if it's not on your blogger profile so I can find you.

If you'd like to follow my blog that would be awesome but it's not required for the giveaway.

You have til Monday night at midnight to leave a comment and I'll announce the winner Tuesday so be sure to come back to see if you won.

Have a great weekend every!

Well, I'm working at a certain craft store all weekend and then Monday our town has a big Fun Fest that I will be attending. Sadly, little time for crafting but my little one starts preschool on Tuesday so I know I will be gettin' crafty then!

I'll be relaxing and scrapping since I have 2 jobs its nice to be off from them both and have some me time.

My son started 8th grade this year and you can believe I was right down there with him at the bus stop snapping pictures and making the bus driver laugh.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

That banner is fantastic!!! And your kiddos are uber cute lol. Hope the first day of school went well for both of them. I am spending this weekend differently than I had planned. One of my best friends Sheila- you may have met her at CHA with me- had her house burn to the ground last night. We are caring for her youngest and keeping her busy and happy while her parents sort through the rubble and deal with insurance. Honestly...while we were so looking forward to our plans for the weekend I am just so grateful that they are all okay and that we can help in any way. xoxo
