Hello! Today sharing some cards I created using Deco Foil™ and the Deco Foil™ Adhesive Pen along with stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions.

Therm-O-Web Supplies: DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • GOLD DECO FOIL™ ADHESIVE PEN .34FLOZ MEMORY TAPE RUNNER XL™ ICRAFT EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS • LG 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK

Other Supplies: Fabriano Water Color Paper Distress Inks: Spiced Marmalade Misc. Twine

I love creating cards with watercolor paper and then using Distress Inks to create my own design. First, emboss the cardstock with a fun background die, then use the Distress ink (Spiced Marmalade) along with a watercolor pen to create your background, spraying water with a mini mister on your cardstock so the ink will move. I find if I stamp the ink in an acrylic block and pick up the color with the water color pen I get the best results. Once I dried the base then I stamped the image from Taylored Expressions Free Spirit set and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

  Step 1

Once we created the base, die cut a smaller piece of water color paper using the Fine Feathers die from Taylored Expressions. Use the DECO FOIL™ ADHESIVE PEN to color the tips of the feathers and let dry for a few minutes. Then apply the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • GOLD over the feathers to transfer.

  step 2

Finish by using the 3D WHITE FOAM SQUARES • COMBO PACK to adhere the feathers to the front of the card and add a bow made from twine.

Here's another card I created using the same watercoloring technique without embossing the cardstock. For this card the background is the variety of feathers from the Taylored Expressions Fine Feathers die. I cut them using the ICRAFT EASY CUT ADHESIVE™ SHEETS • LG.

Then I peeled off the back and arranged them on the card after I stamped and embossed my sentiment. Then I used the DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • Gold to  make them pop off the card.

Thanks to Taylored Expressions for providing these sets to create with.

Have a creative day!
