Hello friends. It's been a busy weekend over here. I have been kitting for my upcoming GASC classes in Arlington TX May 31-June 2nd. It's coming up sooner than I think! I'm teaching 3 very different classes at both of the GASC shows and that's 125 kits per class. I'm so thankful for my sweet hubby who has been helping put all these tiny things into bags.
Yep he punched those flowers in there for me too! I am so incredibly excited about this upcoming event because last year I started teaching classes at my local Michaels in Hawthorne to build my confidence so that I could hopefully branch out and teach at events like the Great American Scrapbook Expo someday and now my dreams are becoming a reality thanks to a friend who believed in me.
I have wanted to teach classes for a long time. I love sharing papercrafting with other women and I love that it gives me confidence and a little something just for myself. I think as Moms and wives we spend so much time taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. Papercrafting is a part of my soul that really makes me feel good about myself. I hope that I can help others feel good about themselves thru my classes too!
Here's a peek at one of the cards we'll be making in my Sew Ribbon card class sponsored by We R Memory Keepers. I just love butterflies, don't you?
If you live near Arlington TX or Chantilly VA you can check out all of the great classes offered at the Great American Scrapbook Expo
here. My sweet friend
Ashley Harris is also teaching at GASC. She's got a fun "Happy Birthday to All" and "No, thank you!" card classes and a Family Matters mini album class.
It's going to be lots of fun! Hope to see some of you there!
Have a great weekend!
