Hello friends! I've been terrible at blogging during this pandemic. I'll make no excuses for that. It's been a crazy year for sure. In CA we've been on lockdown and school has been out since March 17th. We have been doing our best to navigate through several strict stay at home orders from our Governor and school on line. It has been very challenging, to say the least, but we're surviving and have stayed healthy and Covid free throughout. 

I hope you are staying safe and are doing well also. 

Over the summer I was asked to join the Diamond Press team and create samples for their website and HSN airings. I have really enjoyed creating with Diamond Press's products. The designs are fun and easy to create with.

This past week HSN had a craft day and almost all the new releases from Diamond Press sold out fast. The new releases as so cute and fun to create with. 

Today I'm sharing a look at some of the cards I created for the show. The next craft day on HSN is 24 hours! It's coming up on March the 2nd and Diamond Press has some exciting things airing so be sure and mark your calendars!

Sending Sunny Thoughts

Hello friends! Today I am sharing a card I made using the new Gina K Designs Stamp n Stencil along with the brand new Glitz glitter gel. These new products are so much fun and easy to create with. 

First I stamped images from the Crazy Daisy and Petals & Wings Stamp n Stencil sets with Gina K. Designs inks. I love working with these ink squares because the colors are so vibrant.

Once I stamped all the images I wanted to possible use, I then matched the coordinating dies and cut them out using my die cut machine. I played with them a bit arranging them in the shape of a wreath to see how I wanted to use each piece.

Using the coordinating stencil and a darker shade of purple, I inked the center of the light purple die cut flowers.

To the center of the larger flowers, I applied the Glitz glitter gel in the turquoise sea and the stencil to the centers. Once it dried the detail was very vibrant.

I measured my cardstock to 4 1/3 X 5 1/3 and stamped my sentiment in the center so that I could build the wreath around it.

I arranged the die cuts how I liked the look the best and then used our 3D foam squares to adhere to the die cuts to the card base.

I finished off the card with a beautiful bow and now we have a beautiful finished card.

Albums Made Easy Monday

I know...it's been too long! I'm so sorry I have missed my Monday Albums Made Easy posts. My mom came to visit for a month from Arkansas and I took full advantage of having her here to kit for my upcoming classes at GASC. We got so much done but it took up so much of my time that my blog has suffered.

I have really missed creating for these posts and I am so happy to be back sharing another AME tip with you today!

I wanted to share some ideas with you for creating with your Albums Made Easy inserts outside of your pocket pages and onto a 12x12 layout.

For this layout I used 2 4x6 inserts and 2 photos.

One of the things I love about this system of scrapbooking is that you don't have to stick to the pockets. You can take the inserts and use them in creative ways on your scrapbook pages.

I love We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy system. We have 4 new templates that you can stitch up some really beautiful images or words to add to your layouts and projects.

On this project I wanted to show you that you don't need a template to have fun with your floss and Sew Easy Needle.

I added a stitch on the bottom of the Albums Made Easy insert for fun.

 

 I added some stamped images, wood veneers, sequins and enamel dots that appear to trickle down my page.

 When I am done with my stitching I attach the ends of the thread to the back of the layout with washi tape. I used to knot the end when I started but then I realized that left a bump in my layout. This method keeps it smooth.

25 Days of Holiday Cards Day 3

Hello and thanks for stopping by for Day 3 of my 25 Days of Holiday Cards. I hope you are enjoying my holiday card inspiration so far. If this is your first visit then please check out the Day 1 post here. I am always so late getting my Holiday cards out. You'd think I would have learned by now when to have them all done by but that would be way to organized for me. I like to live in creative chaos. I honestly think I do my best work there...lol. So tell me, when do you mail out your Holiday cards?

Alright, let's get to the crafty stuff! Today I am sharing a fun and easy to make card using embossing folders and stamped images.

Happy Holidays

I used kraft as my cardstock and then cut a piece of white cardstock at 4x51/3 and embossed it with a stitched embossing folder by Provocraft. Then I stamped the flower image in a quilted look using 2 different colors of ink. The sentiment and mini holly die are from Lil Inker. I loved this Sentiment kit as soon as I saw it. I finished the card with some ribbon and accented the red stamped images with Perfect pearls.

Unity Thursday

I was able to use several SMAK images on this layout. I used some felt flowers to add a little fun to the bannerand Washi Tape to create some layering.

Today is also the release of the new Sentiment kit.
