Today I am sharing some pocket page scrapbooking inspiration with the May 2014 SMAK kit.

{Day Dreaming}

Here's a pocket page I created with some of the images from this fun kit.

It's easy to stamp images onto the pocket inserts. Just cut the inserts at 3x4 and round the corners. The stamp and embellish as you like. Have fun with them!

I think my favorite image in the set is the frame. So cute!

I made this page to go with a 12x12 layout I scrapped for my Albums Made Easy Monday post.

I love the Inked Rose collection by We R Memory Keepers. It's has beautiful images and colors.

Albums Made Easy Monday

I know...it's been too long! I'm so sorry I have missed my Monday Albums Made Easy posts. My mom came to visit for a month from Arkansas and I took full advantage of having her here to kit for my upcoming classes at GASC. We got so much done but it took up so much of my time that my blog has suffered.

I have really missed creating for these posts and I am so happy to be back sharing another AME tip with you today!

I wanted to share some ideas with you for creating with your Albums Made Easy inserts outside of your pocket pages and onto a 12x12 layout.

For this layout I used 2 4x6 inserts and 2 photos.

One of the things I love about this system of scrapbooking is that you don't have to stick to the pockets. You can take the inserts and use them in creative ways on your scrapbook pages.

I love We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy system. We have 4 new templates that you can stitch up some really beautiful images or words to add to your layouts and projects.

On this project I wanted to show you that you don't need a template to have fun with your floss and Sew Easy Needle.

I added a stitch on the bottom of the Albums Made Easy insert for fun.

 

 I added some stamped images, wood veneers, sequins and enamel dots that appear to trickle down my page.

 When I am done with my stitching I attach the ends of the thread to the back of the layout with washi tape. I used to knot the end when I started but then I realized that left a bump in my layout. This method keeps it smooth.

New items from Anna Griffin

Hello friends! Did you see Anna on HSN on Wednesday? She had a great show and released some great new products. First I want to share the newest collection from Anna. It's beautiful and perfect for the upcoming 4th July holiday as well as pages for the soldier in your family. 

It's called Madison.

All of the papers and embellishments have a vintage Americana motif, and we’ve added special die cut glitter and gold foil accents that really make this collection special. There are star bursts, stars, stripes and chevrons and, of course, a touch of old world ephemera.

Next is the Well Said vellum quotes. These sold out fast.

The last one is my favorite. It's not easy to make masculine cards but these Vellum Quotes and the All About Him card kit made it easy and fast.

Gallery Idol 2014

It's that time again friends. Gather up your best supplies, techniques and creativity because Paper Crafts has officially kicked off this year's open auditions for...

You can find out all the details on how to enter here. Only 20 will be chosen to compete from the open auditions so good luck everyone! I made it thru 3 rounds in 2010. 

This was my favorite entry. It got me into the Top 15

It was an amazing experience. I've tried out each year and have not been unable to repeat my 2010 streak. Hopefully this year I can break back in!

The first theme is Washi Tape. Here's what I created using my favorite patterns in my stash.

I would absolutely love to win the trip to CK Seattle! My Dad is buried in Wenatchee and my sweet friend Maren offered to take me there to see where he is buried if I could make it up there.
