So the getting ready for school ritual begins and before I know it, the time has come for Scott to leave for his first day of school at El Segundo Middle School. I suprise him with a special lunch snack and a new binder in his favorite color, blue. He smiles and says "thanks Mom"
Here's my handsome 7th grader ready to ride to his 1st day of school. It's 3 blocks down and 2 blocks over to school and Scott enjoys riding his bike. I'm SO excited for him. We really pulled together as a family this summer to move to a better school district for Scott. It wasn't easy that's for sure but you want the best for your kids. As parents you always find a way.
So off he goes...
but turns to say "bye M0m!"

Can you believe how fast our children are growing up?!!! My son just entered into 8th grade...just too fast for me! Enjoy the new year of school!
