More Anna Griffin: New Joyful Expressions Embossing folders

Thursday, January 30, 2014

Hello friends. I wanted to share some samples I created for Anna's Anniversary show on HSN in January featuring the new Joyful Expressions Embossing folders.

These folders are really beautiful and fun to create with in any style. I love the quality of these beautiful Cuttlebug embossing folders. I added ink to the folder for the Cherry Blossom card and it wiped away easily with a baby wipe.

Here's a look at some of the samples with the folder names.

I loved these embossing folders paired with Anna's collections. I inked some of them with Anna's new chalk inks and the last one used colored embossing powder in pink.

What ever your style, you'll be able to create beautiful cards with these folders.

Thanks for stopping by!

While I was away at CHA

Friday, January 17, 2014

Hello friends! While I was at the Craft and Hobby Mega Show, Anna Griffin was on HSN celebrating 20 years of her amazing products! Anna's style and designs are so unique and timeless. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of her brand is quality. I love that her product not only lasts but everything she creates is made so incredibly well.
Here's a look at a few of the samples I made for the 20th Anniversary HSN show.

This card was my favorite. I cut out the design on the paper and created a card that looked like a purse.

It's so easy to create Rosettes with strips of this cardstock since it's nice and heavy.

Next I have some samples with the new...

 Chalkboard Stamp Set
{this item sold out but keep checking Anna's page at HSN to see if it comes back in stock}

I stamped this one in the black ink that comes with the stamp set.

For this card I paired Anna's 3D Stickers, flourish die and the Chalkboard image to make a beautiful card.

Anna's new embossing folders also compliment the stamps well.

The green ink is fun to create with as well!

I really love how easy it was to cut out the sentiments after stamping them and then layer them like I did over the rosette made from patterned paper.

Beautiful stamp set right?

I'll be sharing more Anna creations from the show next week, so look for that post!

25 Days of Holiday Cards Day 11

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Hello Friends! I am so thrilled to be back with Day 11 of my 25 Days of Holiday Cards! I can finally tell you that I have been serving on a Jury for the past 17 days. While it was an interesting experience, it was mentally exhausting. I really missed my crafting time. I won't go into much detail but it was a serious case and it did weigh very heavily on my mind. I am very lucky to live in the community that I do where violence is not an everyday thing. I have a great deal more empathy for people who are not as lucky as I am.

OK... so onto Day 11! A beautiful card I created using the new Anna Griffin Winter Wonderland cartridge.

I also added some Stickles to the snowflakes that aren't easy to notice but they do make them shine.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

The 24 hour crafting event on HSN last week was really fun to watch. Anna has so many beautiful new products to share with everyone over at her HSN page. Please stop by and have a look.

We have a really great design team and we have all been working on samples for the show since June. Today I am happy to share the Cottage Roses 3D sticker cards I created with you. These stickers will add instant beauty to any project you use them with. Here are a few ideas for you.

Use them to create a beautiful Sympathy card

On a card for a special friend

or to let someone special know they are in your heart.

Did you see Anna's flourish die in the card above? I love her new dies. They really add that extra something to cards and layouts. Hopefully she'll have them available again soon at HSN. They sold out so fast and honestly after working with them, I can understand why.

In case you missed yesterday's post, I have a giveaway going on and you can enter here.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Have a creative day!

Anna Griffin Banners and Borders

Monday, July 15, 2013

Hello friends. Today I am sharing some more of the new Anna Griffin products featured on HSN earlier this month. Anna has created some stunning borders to make your paper crafting quick and easy. Here's a look at how I used them to create some cards.

Tri-fold card

I used the borders on the outside flaps of this tri-fold card and again on the inside.

I paired these borders with the eyelet sticker borders

I used some of Anna's paper pleating strips to add some dimension with the strips here.

I used the borders to cover the whole cover on this card and added some vintage elements.

Next I wanted to share some of the banner projects I created. The banners are self adhesive which makes them easy to use. I stamped a sentiment on one of the banners for this card.

The banners are easy to layer several at one time.

Add some felt flowers to create a fun look.

Rosettes always create a beautiful presentation, even for a masculine card.

For this card I used border strips along with the banners.

That's all I have for today.

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek of my Anna projects. I also have an Anna Griffin Cards Pinterest board you can follow.

Have a creative day!
