Here's Becky's sketch for her Ye Be Thankful blog challenge @ pagemaps.com
I really like the simplicity of the sketch so I decided to stay true to the design with my layout.
I used Basic Grey paper, journaling tags by Prima, ricrak ribbon by American Crafts (don't they have the best ribbon designs!) The butterflies are Heidi Swapp and so is the bling squares in the bodies. The felt letters by thickers and polka dot letters are by Making Memories.
Oh and in case you didn't know Heidi Swapp has an online store. You will not believe the scrappy goodness she has on clearance. Chipboard letters for .99!!! Head on over and get some scrappy supplies!
Yesterday Scrapping Out Loud posted their new challenge for the week and I loved it! The challenge is to create a layout using vintage techniques and papers. I have some old photos given to me by my grandma and I have been wanting to scrap them for sometime. So here's my layout for this week's challenge with pics from my very first Christmas.
I've been working on various projects and gifts for the holidays and I wish I could show them to you. Sorry no peeks Mom!
