Moxie Fab Thanks! Blog Hop

Saturday, November 9, 2013

Hello friends! I am #204 on this amazing Blog Hop honoring Cath and if you made it here from Wanda Cullen's blog, I am so delighted that you did!!

I can't think of Cath without smiling. From the first time I met her with Susan Opal at Summer CHA 2010, I absolutely thought she was Moxie Fab!

I have loved taking part in her Tuesday Triggers, Moxie Fab challenges and more. She has inspired me to create some of the most beautiful cards I have ever made and try techniques I had never thought of dabbling in. A real highlight for me was being asked to participate in the Moxie Fabber of the Week feature! I loved this weekly feature because it was so much fun to learn about so many creative women that I had not happened upon or ever visited their creative blogs.

Here is my card for Cath.

Supplies:  Sentiment from the Here's my Thoughts Sentiment set by Unity Stamp Co. Paper and embellies are from my monthly Simon Says Stamp Card kits. Misc: is the gold glitter tape.

Thanks for all the inspiration and your friendship Cath, you really are dear to me. I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your Moxie Fab life!

Now I am sending you onto Lydia Fiedler!

A little cup of happy

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Hello friends. Every morning I really enjoy brewing my little cup of happy so when I saw this week's Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger inspiration I had to create something fun!

Here's a look at this week's inspiration

I knew I had some Unity stamps in my stash that would be great for this challenge, so I went digging...

A little cup of Happy

Supplies: Unity Stamp Co.  Feb 2011 and July 2009 KOTM images: Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants Park Bench collection; Recollections Felt flowers; Misc: buttons and bling.

I love using my older Unity images. There are SO many cute stamps that are in the older KOTM kits. These stacked cups are one of my favorites.

You can play along with Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger by creating your take on the weekly Trigger Target and linking your creation to the post here.

Have a creative day!

Wonder of Watercolor: A Moxie Fab World Challenge

Friday, April 19, 2013

Hello friends! I can't believe it's already Friday. I've been enjoying the quiet of my house this morning and creating along with the Moxie Fab World Wonder of Watercolor challenge. I haven't ever tried this technique so I was really interested in giving it a try.

Thankful for your Friendship

Supplies: Simon Says Stamp white cardstock, Anna Griffin embossing folder, Papertrey Ink stamps, Celebrate it ribbon, Simon Says Stamp Sentiment.

I checked out some videos from Hero Arts on YouTube and decided on which watercolor technique I liked. I chose to stamp my image with clear embossing ink and powder on watercolor paper. Then I used Tim Holtz distress Inks and watered them down with a Mini Mister. I them used a paint brush to apply it to my image. I really enjoyed the process and the result.

You can create along with this challenge by visiting the Moxie Fab World blog here.

I look forward to seeing your creation!

Hang on this one's gonna be long...
