Hoppy Easter by Photoplay

Saturday, March 11, 2017

Hello friends! I was lucky enough to win ALL of Photoplay's CHA paper collections in a Facebook Giveaway in January!
I was beyond thrilled when my box of goodies arrived. Today I want to share a few cards I created with Photoplay's

I love the Hoppy Easter stamp set and used it to create the following cards along with paper from the collection.

I used the carrot image to wallpaper the background of my card and then I colored it with Copic markers. Then I stamped and colored my bunny and placed him with Therm-O-Web 3D foam squares.

For this card I stamped the bunny image and colored with Copic markers and used Therm-O-Web 3D foam squares to mount it on my card. I added some washi tape board and a border die from My Favorite Things to my design. I finished the card off with a sentiment and some twine.

The colors in this collection are so vibrant and fun to work with. I hope to create some more projects with it soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Easter decor fun with Plaid

Monday, March 21, 2016

Hello friends! The awesome team over at Plaid sent me a fabulous box of goodies to create with so today I wanted to share a fun home decor project I made.

The supplies to create this fun addition to your Easter home decor is short and one that any level of crafter can create.

Supply list: Wood paintable from Michaels, Plaid Crafts Delta Ceramcoat Lavender, Ribbon in your favorite Easter style.

First you want to paint your bunny with the Delta Ceramcoat Lavender. I used a sponge applicator for ease of clean up. You just wash the paint off and let air dry for another use later.

After I painted both sides of the bunny, I let the pain dry about 30 mins to be sure but what I do love about this paint is that it does dry very quickly.

Next I was ready to apply some Mod Podge to seal the color onto the wood. I also let each side dry about 30 mins.

To finish off my bunny I chose a white Glitter Pom Pom which I hot glued onto the wood cut out and tied a nice bow with the polka dot ribbon.

I really like the simplicity of my finished project.

Start to finish this project was approx. 90 mins

Thanks again to Plaid for sending me the box of awesome paint, Mod Podge and other cool Plaid products. I'll be sure and share more projects in the coming weeks.

Have a creative day!
