Today I am sharing some inspiration with the new Kit of the Month
Oh Christmas Tree
When I saw this kit, I immediately wanted to create with the snowflake ornament. I thought it would be fun to stamp the images on vellum paper. I didn't use any special ink except for regular die ink (I use Versafine black onyx) and just let it dry for about 15 mins.
The fun part of using vellum paper is that you can put pattern paper behind it for nice backgrounds. I added some Stickles and ribbon to dress up the image.
For the next card I wanted to keep it CAS. I used kraft paper and a Spellbinder die to cut a window for the image stamped on vellum paper. I added some Stickles to make the pine cones sparkle.
The Sentiment from a past Jillibean Soup set paired with the twine and bow finished the card nicely.
Give stamping on vellum a try, I think you'll really enjoy the results! Now I am sending you onto Thienly's blog where I am sure you are in for a fantastic treat!
