Thanks Jen, you're one in a million girl!

A new challenge at Color Combos Galore

Friday, February 11, 2011

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a new challenge with you over at Color Combo's Galore. I'm so honored to be Guest Designing with them this month and even more excited that Unity Stamp Co is this month's sponsor! Play along each week and you could win some Unity Rubbah!! Now here's this week's challenge:

Here's what I created with this week's colors
Supplies: Patterned paper, Echo Park Be Mine collection, Unity Stamp Co Circa Journal Stamp, Glue Arts  Extreme Adhesive squares and Prima flowers.

My husband saw this layout and got so mad at me for scrapping this pic..LOL. The thing is, it's not the expression that means as much to me as the look in his eyes. I fell in love with those green eyes the instant I looked into them. I remember exactly why he made this face during our vows and to me it's a precious moment in time.

I hope you'll be inspired to create something with this week's colors. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hip Hoppin back from CHA

Wednesday, February 2, 2011

Hellloooo friends! I'm back from CHA and ready to hop right into this week's Unity Hip Hop! First I want to share February's KOTM

How can all this cuteness be on one set?? Sign up for your KOTM today by heading on over to the Unity website here. Then start stalking your mail carrier month after month.

It was absolutely fabulous to see everyone at CHA. I had the best time with the My Little Shoebox team and scrappy friends! It was a whirlwind I tell ya!
As usual the booths were amazing (special congrats to my friend Heidi @ GCD Studios for winning the EXHIBITING WITH EXCELLENCE AWARD) the collections were breath taking and the make and takes were super fun!
Unity's booth was amazing! I wish I had shot more photos to share but I am sure Angela will be getting those posted to the blog for you to see.
Today I am sharing two projects I made that ended up being displayed at the Unity booth for CHA. I can not tell you how fun it is to walk into the booth and see your work hanging next to all those beautiful Unity stamps.
First here's my layout

Supplies: patterned paper and stamps by Iron Orchid featuring the Be Still Beloved collection. I also used trim from Websters Pages and my Spellbinders Grand Calibur die machine and the Labels Nine set.
Here's a pic of it hanging at the Unity booth surrounded but all those Iron Orchid stamps

Next is an altered wall hanging I did

Supplies: patterned paper and stamps by Iron Orchid featuring the Be Still Beloved collection. I stamped the image onto canvas and embossed it. Then I used Copics to color and added some Prima lace.

Here's how it looked hanging

I was soooo happy to finally meet Amy at CHA. She is just a darling girl and so stinkin sweet! Muwah!
I will have so many more pics from CHA in the coming days so stay tuned.

I'm sending you off to Brooke now...enjoy!
