Unity Gratitude Hip Hop and a Playdate Cafe challenge

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Hello and thanks for stopping by today!  We have a special treat for you these next few weeks! We are doing themed Hip Hops! Yes you read that right...The Unity Design Team and Ippity girls are all creating special themed projects will all the beautiful Unity rubbah!! So please enjoy the Hop and let the girls know what you think of all their Unity greatness!!! Make sure you start your journey at the Unity Blog!

This week's theme is Gratitude & Thankful. First I am very thankful for all of the amazing ladies that visit my blog each Thursday and leave me the kindest comments. Thank you for making the Unity Hip Hop part of your day!! I am also Thankful to be a part of this amazing team of designers! These girls are so talented and wonderful to work with!

For my project this week I created these tags for each one of my family members to fill out during our Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Unity's newest scrapbook set Grateful You has the perfect image for my tag!

and I used one of the leaves from Simple Blessings set

Here's a close look at the tags. I used the Cricut Thanksgiving cart for the leaves and cut them at 4" with double dot Bazzill paper. Now my family can easily fill in what they have gratitude for in the Unity journal image. It's my hope that they will save them as bookmarks that will serve as a reminder of their lists all year long!

Now I have an added bonus for you today! The Play Date Cafe is featuring Unity all week long starting today on their beautiful challenge blog! AJ and I are teaming up to create cards based on this week's challenge:

"Create a card based on this color story"

Here's my card with some Anna Griffin paper, Prima flowers, glimmer mist and fabulous stamps from Melody Ross She Sprouted Wings collection

Well now...don't forget to head on over the The Play Date Cafe and play along because there is a BIG Unity prize and something from Cosmo Cricket up for grabs!!

And wait there's more!!!
